So...my idiotic parents decided to take everyone to the amusement park for the entire day, on the one day that actually mattered to me, instead of Saturday. >.>
That means I'll have to wait for like a week for the episode to be uploaded somewhere online, and any updates will be put on hold. >.<
Are you guys looking for a new admin to work here? I would LOVE to be an admin here because I absolutley love Monsuno and this wiki is so cool! I will take any spot you have avaliable, so let me know if you have something for me. Thanks!
Just noticed something. Apparently Studio Wanpack updated their productions listings for what they've been working on, up until December. Notable, they list Monsuno "207" (Season 2, Episode 7, or Episode 33 overall), as doing "Animation Direction" and "Key Animation".
Now, provided they were only up to Episode 33 in December, and they were on Episode 29 back in October (though I know animation production started back in August/September), I'm starting to wonder if maybe the reason they're delaying the US airing is because the animation production has not been completed yet. If they keep that pacing up, I'd imagine they are only in the late 30s, maybe 40 or so if we're lucky and that may be simply not enough to start sending to Nicktoons and other international broadcasters.
For the record, when they started airing the series in February 2012, they were in the mid-20s, in terms of animation production.
Even if Japan were to say, catch up to where the animation production is at, it isn't unusual for them to rush the episodes out for broadcast and fix up the animation for Video and International release. If anything, Monsuno's lucky that it has such a big lead time between Episode Production and Airing, it's very rare for Japanese productions to have this.
Also, adding on this, Anime! Anime! Biz made an article regarding the US release date of Monsuno: Combat Chaos: Apparently it'll be the second half of the year (so Fall/Winter).
There's also some information indicating that potentially the focus on the first half will be repeats of the first season, to boost interest, unless I'm misreading this...
It's official: Japan will start season 2 in April. Rey is confirmed to be doing the new Opening and Endings starting from April on. No exact air date, but at the very least we got a rough idea when these episodes'll air for sure.
My guess is we'll hear something on the upcoming Nick upfront regarding the US airdates. Hopefully they'll air at the same time...
I saw a Facebook post from Monsuno that said something about trying to get 10,000 likes or so by March 31, not sure if that's a coincidence or if that is when they plan on airing the season opener, no promises though
To make things a little bit more confusing, JAKKS recent news press seems to indicate that the animated series will premiere "Later this year", which suggests the English release has been delayed.
Given Nickelodeon's upfront is in a couple of minutes, we'll probably get a clear answer within the hour or two.
Given the no-show at the upfront, I can only safe to assume it really will not be in Spring as planned. My guess is when the release date gets closer (whenever that is), we'll get more information.
EDIT: Oh, apparently we have a logo for Combat Chaos...
I feel as though these two accounts are sockpuppets. I was online when SwordoftheSpirit responded to my Warning, and then around thirty minutes later, TheChanged yelled at Dart for not responding to SS. Not to mention that s/he kept on redoing the edits that were undone by Admins (read: me).
Eh, they're lucky that things have died down on the Wiki. If Bendo, AOH, and DM were still there, they would probably have been blocked on the spot. I was considering giving them another warning for arguing with an Admin (SS denied allegations that saying 'retarded' was inappropriate language), but decided not to do that yet.
Hey, this is Mendinso, the guy that has been more or less working with the Japanese version of Monsuno (fansubbing, I mean), but I was wondering if you could potentially help with something.
We are trying to identify all the shots that were shown in the Japanese intro. While we have identified a couple (including a couple character shots that were specifically recomposited for the intro only), I'm just wondering if perhaps you could help us. We're essentially trying to do a "Textless" version of the intro.
If it's really necessary to randomize the remaining participants, here they are: Longfang, Glowblade, Nightstone, Airswitch (or Blackbullet), and Boost (or Spiderwolf).
O_O It turns out we have 5 left in the tournament, AN ODD NUMBER! I guess a three-way battle should be in order.
